Lanes Jewelry started long before the Jewelry store came into existence. I began by working for three major jewelers, during which time I came to realize that gems and Jewelry is more than a job. Its a passion! And with previous business ownership and one of the three Jewelers that actually promoted education (Reeds Jewelers), I am grateful to the industry and my peers. Having a great desire to learn, I would like to take you on a journey into my lessons in Gem faceting. There are loads of great material on this subject and we will exploit many of them. The basic part of any gem is to obtain it first. So with that in mind my wife has graciously put herself up as the first to go forth and do old fashion. She is as we speak in North Carolina with her sister-in-law Chasity Nichols Lane and close friend Geologist Katherine Elesha Cassady.
